Cinders, Professor Clara - the head professor for all of the Kyak region, includin the Moonlight Islands, Mintono, Jadino and Okuma, based in Waterside Town. She helped in the Oceanview War, and despite being unconcious for most of it, gained the title of Kyak Hero, Second Class.
Kanakae, Mr. - RK's "father", owns the Seasite fairground.
Kanakae, Rachel "RK" - leader of Drake Co., last seen getting away from the Oceanview War after being stabbed by Hydro.
Lowe, Becky - Professor Syca's assistant, a participant in Kyak Big Brother.
Mercury, Ami - Islack water gym leader and twin to Liz, she fought in the Oceanview War against Drake Co., earning the title of Kyak Hero, First Class.

Rosetta - a friend to all pokémon, Rosetta also made a firm friend in Prof. Cinders, being accepted as her assistant in caring for bored pokémon, before setting off on a journey with Willow Taylor to catch and care for new pokémon and gather information for Prof. Cinders.

Typhoon, Hydro - born in Coastal City in Mintono, Hydro's parents went missing when he was young, and he lived with his grandparents, until becoming a trainer then Kyak Champion. He has often fought alongside Rachel to protect the islands, earning him the accolade of Kyak Hearo, First Class. He is also a member of Team Element.
Wissen, Doctor Frankie - ran away from doctors' school to become a pokémon doctor, and has trained for his masters degree under Professor Cinders as her assistant. He is shy, but fought bravely in the Oceanview War, gaining the title of Kyak Hero, First Class. He is also a member of Team Element.
Wolfe, Tom - born in Goldenrod City, Johto, Tom travels the islands with Hydro and Rachel, helping to protect the islands, earning him the accolade of Kyak Hero, Second Class.
